「數位與互動」單元的概念是將傳統菁華賦予新意,在傳統與創新的場域中,透過數位影像、動畫、互動式媒體藝術之媒材,邀請觀眾參與體驗。作品如:汲取蓮花幻影的〈鏡花水月〉、擦身而過的〈心之鯉〉、連結異度空間的〈對影〉、動力裝置的〈花園系列〉,以及轉譯「三車火宅」與「三草二木」經文寓意為動畫的〈妙法蓮華〉等,藉由物我互動關係,延伸觀者對經文體會的另一層次認知。

因此,經文不僅是傳統文化的一部份,也是當下生活的體驗感受,兩者共構出深具智慧的燦爛之光。展出藝術家包括:袁廣鳴、魏德樂、吳宗翰、孫弘、黃心健、宋璽德、王伯宇與93MAA藝術團體等人作品。

5. Digital art and interaction

All of the exhibits make visitors have a different understanding of Buddhist sutras with the interaction between the subject and the object. Buddhist sutras are not only part of the tradition but also the experience of the present moment, both of which form the bright light of wisdom.

The exhibits in this section endow traditional essence with new thoughts forms. Viewers are invited to participate in and experience activities through digital image, animation and interactive media art. "The Lotus Blossom of the Wonderful Dharma," for example, is created by Professor Chen and his 30 students. They use 24 squares in one-second morphing 2D and 3D technology jointly to adapt the parable of the burning house (三車火宅,即火宅喻) and the analogy of medicine herbs (三草二木,即藥草喻) in the Lotus Sutra for 5 minute animation. There is no subtitle, but it is easy to understand. Other works are interactive media art, such as "flowers in the mirror and the moon in water", "carp of the mind", "facing reflection" links and the " garden series". Participating artists are Yuan Goang-Ming, Wei Deh-Leh, Wu Tsong-Han, Sun Hung, Huang Hsin-Chien, Sung Hsi-Te, Wang Bo-Yu and the 93MAA group.

Although there are many artworks on display in this exhibition, yet, as Master Sheng-Yen has stressed, what is most important is the meaning and function of each presented work. How to recognize the spirit of each piece of work is the first priority for every DDM guide. Thus, please study and understand the embedded meaning and function of the creations and lead the general public into the Dharma and Chan practice.
